A 2016 LERB decision found that the allegations of unlawful or unnecessary exercise of authority and neglect of duty during a 2011 incident were unfounded.
Vachon-Zee was video-recorded of having knelt on the suspect's back while handcuffed. An ASIRT investigation was also launched but no criminal charges would be pursued.
